The Annual Washington Fly-In is a time for FLA members to directly influence the political process by personally meeting with and educating their Congressional Delegates on issues that effect forest landowners. Each year, landowners and family members are invited to participate in this important event to effect change on Capitol Hill. This is also a wonderful opportunity for young people to supplement their textbook learning with hands-on experience in the process of American government.
FLA has contracted with the Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Rooms are on hold at a special group rate of $259/single and $284/double per night. Please contact the hotel at (202) 628-2100 by January 28, 2007, to make your reservation. Specify that you are with the Forest Landowners Association to receive the special group rate.
