The Board of Directors for the Forest Landowners Association will meet for their Fall Meeting on November 8-10, 2006 in Atlanta, GA. In following strategic protocol, FLA holds two Board of Directors meetings each year. The first coincides with the FLA Annual Conference and the second usually occurs in the fall. The Board meetings provide opportunities for standing committees, sub-committees and task forces to come together and discuss strategic goals and issues.
According to the by-laws of the FLA, the Board of Directors shall be responsible for the conduct and management of the Association and may authorize the Executive Committee to take necessary actions and to develop policies on conduct and affairs of the Association, subject to ratification by the Board of Directors at the next Board meeting.
