The theme of this year’s workshop is “Forestland Ownership Change in the South: Implications for Management, Production, and Conservation.” This will be an excellent opportunity to hear about the latest forest economics research on issues relevant for southern forestry, with focus on discussing how the rapid and massive ownership changes will impact reforestation, management, wood cost and availability, supply chain logistics, fire protection, and conservation.
